Getting back into shape

  • Porridge Topped with Fruit

    Oats, Milk, Fruit

    Porridge is a source of wholegrain with slow release energy to stop you snacking-mid morning. Make in large batches then reheat with milk. You could even swap the oats for quinoa for something different.

  • Scrambled Egg, Wholegrain Bread & Wilted Spinach

    Egg, Wholegrain Bread, Vegetables

    Use two eggs per person. Crack your eggs into a bowl, add salt and pepper and whisk using a fork.

    Put a small saucepan on over a low heat, add some butter and let it melt. Pour the eggs into the pan and stir slowly using a wooden spoon.

    Remove from the heat when the eggs are firm, remember they will continue to cook slightly even after removed from the heat.

    Serve with wholegrain bread and a bed of wilted spinach.
