Vote for the Best Breakfast

Like eating out? So do we! That’s why we want to know where you can find the best breakfast. Is it a cafe, a hotel, a Bed and Breakfast, a top restaurant, or even a food van, stall or work canteen?

Like eating out? So do we! That’s why we want to know where you can find the best breakfast. Is it a cafe, a hotel, a Bed and Breakfast, a top restaurant, or even a food van, stall or work canteen?

We’ve been asking venues to nominate their best breakfast dish and we’re now opening voting up to you to pick the winner. We’re going to visit the winner with TV Chef Dean Edwards during Farmhouse Breakfast Week to present their award – and try the winning dish for ourselves. (We’re very excited about that last bit!)

Eateries around the country have been putting themselves forward in three categories – best hot breakfast; best cold breakfast; and most innovative breakfast – and you can vote in as many of these categories as you like (only one vote per person is allowed in each category though).

You can find the full list of venues that are in the running to date here. If your favourite venue isn’t here yet then why not let them know you think they should put themselves forward? They can still nominate their dishes right up until the 17th January, and once they do you’ll be able to show your support by voting for them.

If you need any further incentive for voting than helping to find the Best Breakfast in the UK, then everyone who votes will go into a prize draw too. As we’re all battling the cold weather at the moment we’ve got a prize you can all look forward to - a UK seaside break for two (and don’t worry you’ll have until next August to take it so you can wait until the sun is out!)

During Farmhouse Breakfast Week we’ll also be holding one more award: The Best Home Breakfast. This will be your chance to show off your breakfast by sharing pictures online. We’ll be releasing details of this in the New Year so stay tuned for all the news on this and everything else that is happening as part of Farmhouse Breakfast Week – the year’s biggest celebrations of breakfast.
