FBW - One day left
There's just one day of Farmhouse Breakfast Week left and we can't believe how the time has flown by.
It’s official: Tried & True café in Putney offers the most innovative breakfast in the country! The café was awarded the Best Breakfast Award for their BBQ Pulled Pork Benedict when the winners were announced on Monday, and today was our chance to try itmers doing so each wee.
It’s official: Tavern Co, Liverpool offers the best breakfast in the country! The restaurant, found metres from the famous Penny Lane, has been awarded the Best Breakfast Award for their Full English, beating hundreds of venues across the UK. The awards, taking place as part of Farmhouse Breakfast Week, recognise the growing trend of eating breakfast out, with 1 in 4 consumers doing so each week.
I am the Education Officer at the Newbury & District Agricultural Society and we run a range of educational events, working with schools across Berkshire, to teach children about the origins of food, how it is produced and the benefits of a healthy diet.
Easter weekend is nearly here and for many of us that means time off to enjoy with family and friends. Whether you’re relaxing at home, enjoying days out, or playing host over the weekend, we’ve got some tasty breakfast ideas to set you up for a fun-filled day (some even include chocolate!)
We’re really pleased to be running the Best Breakfast Awards again this year, as we had a great response when we launched them last year. The awards celebrate the fantastic and varied breakfast dishes served up and down the country. We are looking for the best dishes, the ones that stand out on the menu and use fresh and, where possible, local ingredients.
